Registration

registration form & Payment must be complete for application to be accepted. Meal preferences / allergy information and agreement to contract terms by both child and parent must be completed as directed by grade level coordinators.

Electronic registration is a 3 STEP process managed through SASCSA using your family’s Veracross ID and Password.

Step 1. login to CHQ system using registration link

Step 2. Payment of program fees is also made by paying “outstanding balance amount” shown on CHQ system. IF you do not see an outstanding balance in your child’s SASCSA account, they have not yet been allocated a regular roster spot. Please contact SASCSA at 6360 6513 for further clarification.

Step 3. Complete the Consent to Contract Terms and Declaration of Food Allergies / Meal Preferences HERE

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. Returning regular program participants for Rising 8th & Rising 7th have a priority registration window

  2. The second registration window is used to fill any remaining open spaces with current substitutes

  3. Each grade RESERVES spaces on the regular rosters for new SAS families (2 Boys & 2 Girls per grade level)

  4. IF there are remaining spots on the regular rosters AND there is an equally balanced number of boys & girls in each grade, new registrations from existing SAS families may apply. Once the 38B/38G spots are full, any new registrations of interest are placed on the substitute lists (by grade)

  5. The registration period for Rising 6th runs slightly later than the 7G & 8G period. Once the registration period closes, the CHQ system randomly draws a list of boy & girl participants in an evenly matched number (up to the maximum 38B/38G limit) and creates a substitute list for remaining registrations of interest. ONLY after the lottery draw will families be notified that they may pay TDT program fees and complete the Consent to Contract & Declaration of food allergies form.

2019/2020 Registration forms must be completed via CHQ links below (by grade level) by the following dates:

Rising 8th Grade: April 16th @ 10am– April 30th @ 3pm for CURRENT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS (May 1st - 8th for current subs)
IF spots remain available after May 8, registration will be opened up to the entire 8th Grade

Rising 7th Grade: April 16th @ 10am – April 30th @ 3pm for CURRENT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS (May 1st - 8th for current subs)
IF spots remain available after May 8, registration will be opened up to the entire 7th Grade

Rising 6th Grade: April 24th @ 10am – May 8th @ 3pm
(Lottery, if necessary, will be on May 10th at 2pm)

*Registration is not considered complete unless each child submits a registration form and signed contract. In the event that we receive more applications than we can accommodate the CHQ system draws a random selection of regular roster participants “lottery style”. Those who do not find a place on the regular roster after the lottery is drawn will be placed in the substitute pool. We will inform families of the outcome by May 13th, as well as release payment instructions. If only a sub pool spot is available and you do not get a lottery pick for regular position, you will not be required to pay, as there is no fee to be in the sub pool.
